Beloved Brother George Floyd, We Celebrate Your Life: Official Statement for Memorial Services June 8th in Houston, Texas

Fort Bend Memorial Planning Center is releasing the official statement on behalf of the family of George Floyd regarding the memorial and official celebration of his life.

Floyd, a 46-year-old man who was raised in Houston’s Third Ward, was killed during an encounter with Minneapolis police officers. Findings of an autopsy supported by his family revealed he died from asphyxiation due to neck and back compression after an officer held his knee on his neck for several minutes.

Images of Young Man, Allegedly Lynched And Found Hanging In Mother’s Backyard, Go Viral

Officials are calling a what appears to be a cold-blooded racial lynching of 24 year old Danye Dion Jones of St. Louis, Missouri, a suicide according to sources. On the morning of October 17th, Jones’ mother, known activist Melissa McKinnies, posted grave images to Facebook of the horrible sighting she woke to of her beloved son Danye fatally hung in her backyard. Don’t believe the hype
